Intro

Love Nest Villa is nestled to the famous prehistoric village of Akrotiri.It is a fully renovated and equipped villa overlooking the stunning view of the Aegean sea, part of the famous caldera and the medieval castle of Akrotiri. The villa is 75 sq.m, it is decorated with a minimal, traditional and romantic style and is ideal for honeymooners, couples and families. It can accommodate up to 4 persons.

All furniture are hand made from wood or “patito”, a hand made traditional contruction technique that is used from the old times in Santorini.

The villa operates all the year round and is ideal for honeymooners, couples, and families, that wish to be close to the main attractions of the island, far from noises and crowds, since the villa is located at a traditional quite neighborhood of the village of Akrotiri.

Interior

Love Nest villa was created by its owners with great care and imagination, to offer its guests beautiful moments of relaxation and tranquility. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room with a sitting room and two sofas (sofa-beds), a beaufiful bedroom (with a double bed), a “love nest” wide spa bathroom with a separate toilet, a separate shower, a bathtub with Jacuzzi and a hammam room. The “love nest” bathroom gives you the opportunity to give a good care to your whole body. Begin your spa with a hydro massage and then feel the benefits of hammam which eliminates dirt and harmful bacteria while relaxing deeply your entire body and mind. The stress and tension accumulated over the weeks can go away quietly and leave the room for the relaxation you deserve.

Exterior

The house has a private entrance that leads to a balcony and the main house. External stairs lead to a wide terrace of 75 sq.m that features stunning panoramic views 360◦ to the village and the castle, to the famous caldera and to the west side overlooking the beach of Vlychada. Let your eyes get lost to the horizon and admire the beauty of the sunrise in Santorini.

Santorini’s famous villages have a unique character. Visit the capital, Fira with the traditional narrow commercial paths and amazing caldera views.The villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli also have unique caldera views and nice spots. Worth stopping by is the famous Oia, at the northeast part of the island, as well at the south part, the Medieval villages of Pyrgos, Akrotiri and Emporio and the tranquil and pittoreque village of Megalochori.

Akrotiri

Akrotiri is one of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. The first habitation on the island dates from the Late Neolithic times (from 4th millennium BC).Nowdays, the archaeoligical site of Akrotiri reveals the prehistoric sophisticated for that era society and town. In Medieval times, Akrotiri was one of the 5 fortified settlements on the island. Apart from having some of the best views on the island which reach as far as Oia, magnificent sunsets, wonderful fish taverns, the famous Red & White beach and other quiet undeveloped beaches and tiny churches. While staying in Akrotiri it is worth visiting Akrotiri Excavations, Akrotiri Castle, the Red beach, the beach on the caldera side and drive until the Firelight to admire the beauty of the famous sunset of Santorini.
